Ethics & Compliance
The Ethics & Compliance function is responsible for
- Ethics & Compliance: supporting the development and implementation of practices that facilitate compliance with the Haleon Code of conduct, laws and Group policy as well as operational risk management requirements
- Security, Investigations and Resilience: providing physical security at our sites and when travelling and for supply logistics, Business Continuity, Crisis Management, Speak Up Line, Investigations and Counterfeit
It delivers clear and integrated compliance solutions that embed Haleon’s culture of ‘always doing the right thing’ and the Haleon Beaviours (Go beyond, Do what matters most, Keep it human).
To deliver its mandate, Compliance provides oversight, written guidance, subject matter expertise, strategic advice and other ad hoc support. Ethics Compliance does this through two organisational routes:
- Ethics & Compliance Business Partners work alongside each business and function. Their role is to help protect and enable Haleon to deliver competitive performance in the right way – “we always do the right thing”.
- Central teams that deliver specialist expertise, efficiency, consistency and continuous improvement within the areas of Security, Investigations and Resilience, Risk Analytics & oversight supporting the development of business led Management Monitoring tools and Independent Business Monitoring.
What we do matters. So does how we do it. That’s why we must always do the right thing. It means holding our actions and decisions to the highest possible standards. Together, we must create a safe environment where our Code of Conduct and applicable written standards are respected, and everyone feels comfortable to raise any concerns we might have. Within the Code, we explain the principles that underpin our ethical standards.
