We have operated in Portugal for over 30 years. Currently, nearly 100 employees work at Haleon Portugal. They all have a strong commitment to follow our purpose: to deliver better everyday health with humanity. Haleon is one of the world’s largest global providers of specialist oral health products. We make a wide range of products, including toothpastes, denture care, mouthwashes, and toothbrushes. Nelson Patrício was appointed General Manager of Haleon Spain in July 2026, after holding leadership roles at Haleon in both Portugal and Germany.
He joined the company in 2020 as Head of Sales for Portugal, leading both the pharmacy and mass-market channels and transforming the strategy and commercial model. He subsequently took on the role of Business Development & Transformation Lead in Germany, developing strategic initiatives in one of the world’s most competitive pharmaceutical markets.
With more than 25 years of experience in global consumer goods companies such as Diageo, where he spent 15 years in a variety of roles across markets in Europe, Latin America and Africa, his career
has been shaped by building high-performing multicultural teams, commercial transformation, and the development of categories and brands in complex environments.
He began his career at Henkel, working in sales and marketing.
