Responsible Business

We are committed to doing business responsibly by:

Working with responsible suppliers and partners

We strive to only conduct business with third parties that maintain high ethical standards and operate responsibly. Our Working with Responsible Third Parties Code outlines the expectations that we place on the third parties that we work with in order to uphold the highest standards of professional integrity and trust.

Supporting our people’s health and well-being

We have an ambition to become industry-leading when it comes to supporting the health and well-being of our employees, shaping and setting standards in the local markets in which our employees live and work.

Championing diversity, equity and inclusion

We are committed to creating a truly inclusive environment where everyone can feel a sense of belonging and thrive. We aim to develop a leadership position on diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives and policies. Among others, our goals will include reaching gender parity in leadership roles by 2030.

Embedding strong governance

We are embedding strong governance for responsible business, with progress against our goals tracked and reviewed at a business unit and total company level, with regular Board reviews.

Ensuring we always do the right thing

Our Code of Conduct clearly sets out our ethical principles and culture of always doing the right thing. We are all responsible for living by our Code and being role models to others, ensuring we uphold the high standards that we’ve set for our business.

  1. Versus our 2020 baseline. Our goal to reduce net Scope 1 and 2 carbon emissions by 100% by 2030 is underpinned by a 95% absolute reduction target. We have submitted our Scope 1, 2 and 3 goals to the Science Based Targets Initiative for verification and have registered our commitment to Net Zero.
  2. Where safety, quality and regulations permit.
  3. Scope includes Haleon’s globally managed spend on key materials which are agricultural, forestry or marine derived. Globally managed spend covers the majority of our internal spend and expands across some of our third-party manufacturing network.
